NOT good with cats or small, hyper-active children(experienced and respectful children 12+yr-OK!. Upon request, we will be happy to send you more videos and pictures of this pup interacting with her H4S buddies, to help you get a better understanding of their personality and activity level and how they interact with their people and other pups. ARAMIS We think he had an issue with his past owner when he started working AWAY from the home and they tried crating him...so, they ended up taking him to doggie daycare where he thrived, but it must have gotten too expensive for their current income and so sadly they chose to give him back to H4S, instead. He LOVES other dogs and has a high-energy level and NEEDS LOTS and LOTS of running room and exercise with other dogs. His trust in humans has been compromised by past owners who were stressed and he became VERY sensitive to their mood swings, so would escape their fenced-in(3 1/2'h backyard) to go play with the neighbor's dogs. NEEDS a young, active and athletic person(prefers women) to be his person. Sorry! NO APTS & NO HOMES WITHOUT A LG 6' h stockade FENCED YARD. Other pups-relative's/neighbor's dog or a dog park would be 'EXCELLENT'. Someone he can share 'CHASE ME' with! He LOVES to RUN/PLAY!! BEST with an active early retiree or active work-from-home person. LOVES women..but, is willing/open to befriend a man, IF they aren't aggressive, impatient, angry, type A personality! Gets along great with rescue 'dad' who is easy-going, loves to walk in the woods and has a calm, gentle demeanor. Last person had a son who was submissive and happy to sit on his butt and play video game all day/night long, who didn't interact with Aramis and so never truly bonded with him. Owner read more into Aramis' way of saying 'let's play' and was over-protective of the son who shied away from Aramis....so between the change in income and the son's inability to have a relationship with Aramis, they decided that he needed to come back to Howlin4Spirit and find the RIGHT-FITTING fur-ever family, instead. So, here we are! Aramis is enjoying playing with all the other dogs at H4S, but he really does need a special person/home to call his own. Good watchdog! LOVES to sleep NEXT to/ON your bed, if allowed. Completely housebroken! Gets along well with all sexes and sizes of other dogs. WANTS TO PLEASE! Obedient. Knows 'no', 'sit' and 'down'. Completed 1st obedience training course, per past Mom who loved him enough to take him through the course...a shame the rest of the family didn't appreciate/make time for him, also! adoption fee: $150(includes up to date on Rabies, Bordatella and Parvo-Distemper/Lepto vax, parasite-free, all medical paperwork from day#1 at H4S, Martingale collar & 6' leash, beef knee cap bone, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, current health certificate-issued within 3 days of transport, 'RESCUED DOGS ROCK' car magnet). Transport is provided by Save Them All OR Happy Dog(bonded and licensed) rescued dog & cat transport...their fee is $100 as far N as NYC/Long Island and $125 to all points N of NYC as far as Manchester, NH and Syracuse, NY...to be paid by the adopter to the driver at the time of delivery-EVERY SATURDAY! Where there is a scent hound or guardian breed being considered for adoption, & in homes where children reside or will be visiting, a secured(not electric) fenced-in yard is required. All potential adopters are required to be at least 25 yrs and complete the application below, at your earliest convenience, to help secure the pup of your choice. Upon receipt of your application, we will acknowledge your application in an email and immediately send out a questionnaire to your 3 personal references. To help your chances of adopting the pup of your 1st choice, be sure to contact/ask all references to reply at their most earliest convenience. Also, give your vet's office permission to release your information to Howlin4Spirit. We will be contacting everyone within 2 business days. Upon approval of this adoption, & to hold the dog/pup of your choice, we require the pup's adoption fee to be sent to our secure PayPal.com acct at: [email protected] Upon receipt of the adoption fee, we will send you the adoption contract and all pertinent information you will need to be ready for your pup's arrival, and reserve your pup's space on 'Save Them All' OR 'Happy Dogs' next available transport. Their transport fee is $100 as far N as NYC/LI, and $125 to points N(NY/NH)
