About Dakota (WA)

Dakota is a very active, energetic 10 month old Idaho Fuzzy. Fuzzes are bred by ranchers for their herding abilities, stamina and loyalty, a combination of Bearded Collie, Wheaten and sometimes Airedale or Border Collie in their breeding. Protective of their territory and family, they make great watch dogs. Requiring daily mental and physical stimulation, a large secure fenced yard or acreage required. Dakota is eager to please. Dakota is a very sensitive boy and will respond to a gentle voice. He loves to run and would be a great jogging/hiking companion; loves kids that will spend time with him, though not recommended for children under 6 due to his high energy level. A light shedder, will require routing grooming to keep his coat from becoming matted. Dakota is about 35 pounds at this time.
