About Baxter

Hello my name is Baxter!!! I am a sweet gentle soul that was pulled from a kill shelter because nobody wanted me. My rescue came for me on my last day to live and took me to my foster home. I went to be vetted and I came back HW Positive. I about died during my HW treatment because the worms got in my lungs but now I am now heart worm negative and a healthy boy. I love my doggy brother and sister and I love to cuddle with my human foster family. I play fetch and play ball but... I most of all want to please my humans and be by their side. I am a very loyal dog looking for a home where I will never be abused or go hungry again. One that will not take me and leave me at a shelter with strange people and dogs to be killed. I was adopted but found myself at a shelter again and then my rescue came to my rescue again and got me back from my adopter when he said he could no longer keep me. I do have a little anxiety and will pee in my crate. I am housebroken otherwise and do not pee in the home. Its just the crate that makes me anxious and my rescue is sure I had a bad experience with it and now thats why I do this. I was not like this before and wish I could tell everyone why I am this way now but I can't. My rescue says no matter what has happened, they will make sure I will never go through anymore bad stuff. I would love to have a home where someone is home with me during the day so we can play ball and hang out. That way I wouldn't be in a crate for 8hours a day while you are at work and that would really make me a happy boy. If you would like to adopt me, will you please contact my rescue.
