About Eva

Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Eva! She is a gorgeous 6 year old Dogo Argentino that was found as a stray and never claimed by her owner. Eva is great with adults as well as children. She loves people and the attention that they give to her. Eva has some scars on her head which leans toward a bit of a rough past with other dogs, so her Foster family very slowly and carefully introduced her to her foster siblings and she is now successfully one of the family. We feel she could live happily with another large male with proper introductions. Eva does demonstrate a high prey drive so a home without cats or smaller dogs is recommended. While not a super high energy Dogo, a morning and evening walk are a must for this girl, as she lives to trot around her neighborhood and absolutely thrives on the routine. Eva is spayed, housebroken, crate trained, heartworm negative. If you have any questions about Eva or any of our other dogs, please email us at: [email protected] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website ( under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you're interested in is a good match. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a 'perfect placement' so we know that they will not be failed again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
