About Nickel

Hello! My name is Nickel. I am a very sweet, cuddly and well mannered young man. I don't know why, but I was left in a carrier with 2 of my cat friends on the doorstep of a veterinary hospital-we were all very scared. Fortunately the kind people at the clinic were very gentle and understanding and they took very good care of us. A nice lady from the Nassau County ASPCA also visited me and determined that I was friendly and cuddly. I was given a full medical exam and I do have a few minor issues which are under control. I sometimes get asthma which happens when I'm excited-such as feeding time (hey, who doesn't get excited around delicious meals!) -- And I also have a heart murmur. The asthma was brought under control with a short acting steroid and the best course of treatment for my heart murmur is being researched. Now all I need is a forever home to make my life complete. I will supply you with all the love, purrs and cuddles you could possible hope for.
