About Pumpkin

Adoption Fee: $125
Abyssinian / Domestic Cat
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

This incredibly handsome older gentleman is Pumpkin. Just look at those big green eyes and his adorably lop sided mouth. What more can a human ask for in a kitty?! Betrayed by his former humans when they pitched him outside after replacing him with a newer, younger model, Pumpkin was facing certain euthanasia as no rescue would take him In because he is an FIV positive kitty. I received a call from a rescue asking that I take him into my brood as they knew I had other FIVs. I was told by the rescue that Pumpkin was a young orange tabby who had just recently had a dental. When I arrived at the vet's office where he had been deposited to retrieve Pumpkin, I was surprised to learn that he was not an orange tabby and that he was an older kitty man who had just had most of his teeth removed. Hmm...I should have turned around and run for the door, but I did not do so. Rather carrier in hand, Pumpkin and I left the vet's office, and Pumpkin started a new chapter of his life as an indoor kitty man. This sweet guy is approximately 10 years old and appears to be an Abyssinian/Domestic Mix who needs very little in order to be happy: food and attention. Okay he also needs water and a clean litter box. Still very basic and minimal needs for a kitty. Both Pumpkin and I are hoping there is some kind soul among us that will become his very own human and feed and snuggle him for the remainder of his years. If you are that person, please feel free to contact me. I do when possible like to receive a vet reference. %90%BE%90%BE%90%BE
