Princess Hattie was surrendered to NYCACC Manhattan where Rescue Dogs Rock NYC found her and brought her into rescue. She has endured much, dumped at 8 years old and in obvious pain at the shelter, a scary place with awful sounds and smells. She required surgery, which has been done, and is healing nicely. She is now in a foster home, where we are learning more about her, and what might be her ideal home. At this time, we suggest a home where she is the only dog and a home without cats. She adores people, and has plenty of spunk! She enjoys car rides, and walks, as well as just snuggling on the couch. She gets a little worried when she sees other dogs out on a walk, but with lots of encouragement and yummy treats, she is learning that dogs are really not so scary! Hattie can be seen in Methuen MA.
