About Fallon

Fallon 2 year old Great Pyrenees /Lab; 70 lbs; good with people & older kids; Not good with small dogs. Gets along well with all medium to large male dogs and is ok with non-dominant female dogs. No cats! Adoption fee $200 Fallon is such a beautiful girl!!!!! She is strikingly good looking and gets complements all the time but she doesn't let it go to her head! She's a tomboy who likes to rough & tumble and chase more than anything; playing with other dogs is definitely her favorite thing to do. When we got her, she'd been abused so was timid with new people, especially men. But she's blossomed into a happy, well-adjusted girl who enjoys attention and getting her ears scratched. She's active so would be a great running partner but would be equally happy racing around the back yard after toys. Her favored playmates are males ... she's not a 'girly-girl' but she is fine with females; she just doesn't really romp with them. Because of her anatolian heritage, she instinctively is protective of her people and property. When her foster mom is around, she's very social and friendly with visitors. But if strangers appear and mom's not home, Fallon is definitely stand-offish. She's extremely loyal and very eager to please so would excel in obedience training, She appears to be potty trained and, although she loves toys (especially the squeaky ones!), she is not destructive with them. She is protective of her food with other dogs (but not with people) so isn't recommended in a home with children under 10 years old. *********If a dog is listed on this site, they are still available for adoption.
