About Django, Adopted

Boxer mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

'Hi y'all! My name is Django and I am finally unchained! I spent several months in the shelter (since october) until Legacy was able to snatch me up! I am really into getting loved on and belly rubs, treats are amazing too! I have had sometime to get to know my foster mom and so far she thinks I am such a sweetheart. In full disclosure, I was surrendered because my previous family thought I bit a toddler. After investigation it was not necessarily a bite; the toddler was in my face and when i was trying to get away I think I scared her. Also, my mom doesn't believe I am FULL blooded boxer, I act like one and look very close to one but my build is shorter and little more stocky so in case you aren't interested in a mix I wanted to let you know now. I can't wait to find my forever home to love on me. I think kids would be cool if they were little older; they drop food and could give me a bunch of attention and I like that a lot! If you are interested in getting to know me more please reach out to your adoption counselor! I am going to the vet to see if I have nasty heartworms and if I do, Legacy will get rid of those for me before I go to my new home. If you are looking for a sweet loving babe, I am your man! ' See my complete bio at If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out our adoption application to begin the process at If you aren't able to adopt at this time, please consider making a much needed, tax-deductible donation to Legacy Boxer Rescue at
