Meet Miss Remmi (short for Remmington) She is a young, female Walker Hound (not a Fox Hound, but Rescue Me doesnt list Walker as a breed) around the age of 1 to 2 years old. She was 1 of 13 dogs recently seized in Barbour County for neglect. The poor girl was found with a prolapsed rectum and very skinny. The ACO got her into the vet immediately and surgery was performed to repair the prolapse. She had her stiches out last wedneday and is doing great. She does well with all the dogs she's met so far and is as sweet as can be with lots and lots of energy. We are currently working on her manners and working on her leash skills.
