About Dougie

Dougie's Story... I'm Dougie. I'm a 3 year old Hound mix and weigh about 70 lbs. I love to be pet and snuggled, I'm a real people dog. I have a big heart and thanks to Paws for Life I am now heart worm free! I get along with all female dogs, but can be picky with male dogs, I am an alpha male. I get along fine with cats too. I would rather not be around new dogs all the time, so dog parks are not for me. I'm much more into my human friends. I need someone to love me, let me snuggle on the couch or floor or bed with them. I need a warm home with lots of love a bit of patience for this stubborn hound dog. I am housebroken, but occasionally have an accident. Up to date on all shots and preventatives. Crate trained, but will bark if I hear noises, so would not do well in an apartment.
