About Elsa

Meet Elsa! We have had her in our rescue since: Oct 20, 2014. Please read about her, as she has only had 3 fosters..who loved her dearly..just not the right time to adopt..she was the perfect apartment dog for a college student who was very active... She is a 45 pound boxer/border collie mix who is approximately 4 years old. This girl is nearly the total package. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and healthy! She is also the perfect house companion. She is content to snuggle somewhere while you leave the house, and doesn't require a crate. She is fully potty trained/house trained. She fetches, knows all her basic commands, and some pretty interesting ones. Elsa is so affectionate, and loves people of all ages. She's great in the car too!! She truly is amazing and will make an absolutely wonderful, loyal best friend for you.She's the perfect dog to come home to! She would rather spend time next to you than do anything else in the world. She'll win your heart immediately. She should have a fenced yard, unless her forever family is willing to play, walk, and exercise her regularly. Currently she is fostered in an apartment and goes running and biking with her fosters. Elsa's only caveat is that she must be the only pet in the household. She is very dominant and would not do well with other cats, dogs, etc. Elsa used to attend events and was fine around other dogs as long as they were not right in her face. Though Elsa has since not had much interaction with other animals, which has made her reactivity to other animals heightened. When she sees another dog now she attempts to lunge towards the animal pulling very hard on the leash. She would need slowly reintegrated to seeing other animals again, though will never be able to live with them, attend dog parks, etc. If you are looking for the perfect dog who will love you unconditionally, and are okay with just having one pet this is the girl for you!
