Meet Qbert! He is a 2 year old male chihuahua who weighs just under 5 lbs who is in search for a special adopter to care for him. He was surrendered to animal control by his previous owners because they were moving and couldn't take him. We believe he may have been a survivor of distemper, which has left him with some neurological deficits. He gait and coordination is abnormal and we think he has limited vision. Despite that he is sweet, responsive to touch and he tries to run and play. He can get overstimulated with too much touch and can become overwhelmed. For this reason we think he should be adopted to an all adult household. He has the softest plush fur and he coexists with other dogs and does fine with cats. Are you that special person who is willing to care for a special needs dog? Qbert's adoption donation is $150. For more information, please contact us at [email protected] If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested (age appropriate), fecal tested and/or dewormed, and microchipped.
