About Tayton & Tegan

LUCKY TO BE ALIVE! Poor Tayton and Tegan and five other bunnies were dumped on the side of the 101 freeway by their previous owners. It was a harrowing and exhausting rescue on the steep slope off the freeway! It took two full days in the scorching heat to rescue the entire family. We had to block off access to the freeway so they wouldn't get run over! Talk about a workout! Tayton is on the left and Tegan is on the right. Tegan has an eye issue but the vet says it is okay and no need to take any drastic measures at this point; she has been fine during her stay here at the rescue. These buns are on the small side, not super small, but small nonetheless. They love their cardboard hide-y boxes and particularly love carving new designs on them with their chompers! They love the fresh dandelions I pick for them from the backyard! These are SUPER SWEET, gentle, docile, loving, lucky and deserving bunnies. They both have a mellow disposition and enjoy being petted, especially Tayton. This DYNAMIC DUO will warm up to you quickly and adjust to a new home environment fair easily. If Tayton and Tegan can't be free roaming or live in a room or a section of a room, then an x-pen enclosure or home made DIY wire grid system enclosure is a suitable alternative. The adoption fee for the bonded pair is $90 which helps cover the cost of the spay/neuter surgeries and rescue intake protocol medications. No problem, I have low cost x-pen enclosures, litter boxes, bunny litter, hay, food pellets and toys to make new bunny ownership easier for you. Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
