About Bill

Adoption Fee: $100
Beagle
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

BILL: 8-9 YEAR OLD BEAGLE GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS, ADULTS, OLDER KIDS NOT POTTY TRAINED 'Our Bill is such a funny, quirky little guy. He always wants to know what is going on around him and can consistently be found right in the middle of all the activity ... eyes bright and inquisitive, tail wagging ... eager to discover what all the excitement is about. Bill trots around as he keeps track of the antics of his doggy pals as well as the endeavors of his human friends. Because of his bowed frown legs, his gait is unique and adorable ... he looks like a grizzled old cowboy who's ridden one to many horses! It's impossible not to smile as you watch him scuttle around in his efforts to keep track of all the proceedings. Because of his inquisitive and social nature, Bill doesn't like to be shut away from the action or his people and will raise a bit of a fuss to let you know he's not happy. But as soon as the impeding gate or door is opened, and he can once again commence his explorations, he's perfectly content. He's entertaining to say the least. Bill is affable and gets along well with other dogs. Although he isn't interested in rough housing, he does enjoy gentle play with his friends. Although he wants to be nearby his people, he is not overly needy and doesn't have to receive attention continually. But if you take the time to scratch his rump and tickle under his chin, Bill relishes the affection. Bill came to us with a chronic and serious infection in both of his ears which had gone untreated for a long time; he was in excruciating pain, poor boy! Because of this, he is wary of having his ears touched and will yelp and pull away if he thinks they are going to be handled. For this reason, we don't recommend that he be in a home with children under 10 years of age. Although partially potty trained, William hasn't quite grasped the concept that should only take care of business outside so will need some patience and consistency to achieve fully house broken status. If you'd like to give this charming, eccentric fellow the 'forever home' he deserves, don't hesitate to contact us. Bill's adoption fee is $100; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.' Due to the high volume of emails received, we recommend you visit our website and fill out an adoption application. This does not obligate you to adopt, it just helps us determine if a certain dog is a good fit for your household. Adoption applications can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Thank you!
