About Misty

This sweetheart is Misty. She is around 5yrs old and weighs around 55lbs. Misty came to us as a stray. She appeared to have had a recent litter or a false pregnancy when she was found, but had no puppies with her. This poor girl had to fend for herself on the streets for a few months until a family caught her and took her in. Unfortunately they had another dog who did not get along with her and attacked her a few times, so they contacted us to take her in. She also had a skin allergy that she had itched down to sores. Good news is she has been nursed back to perfect health and is ready to find a permanent home. She especially likes smaller dogs, but this girl gets along with all dogs big or small, male or female. I have never had an issue with her and have had her over 2 yrs. She has been around cats also and doesn't mind them either. Loves to be around kids and like adults as well. Misty has a pretty laid back personality when she is just hanging out, but she also has a playful side. She likes to play with all of my dogs but she has a special affection for smaller dogs. I have a min pin that she always tries to play with but he wont have any of it ha. She is great on a leash and would make an excellent walking partner. She is completely house trained and crate trained. You can leave her inside for hours and she wont go potty until you let her out. I can let Misty out front off leash and she wont stray. She knows all of her basic commands like sit, stay, lay down. About the only issue Misty has is that she doesn't have a family of her own.
