About Mary Lou

Mary Lou is one of five puppies born in a vacant lot behind a local hospital. When a volunteer noticed one had disappeared and feared it had died, she set out to catch them in a safe pen. Mary Lou was one of the first that she caught. Mary Lou is an 8 month old Catahoula Leopard / Lab mix. She is still a little timid, but she is warming up nicely to human touch. She now willingly comes to you when called and finds security in being cuddled. These babies need a loving and understanding home to continue to nurture them and help them grow in their trust and build self confidence.
