About Mickey

Say Hello to the Marvelous Mickey! Mickey is an adorable 10 pound Chihuahua who was saved from euthanasia. Why would he be euthanized one might ask? He simply ran out of time which wasn't much if you know our county shelters.Well someone DID come for this little man at his final hour because he deserves so much more than what he was going to get. 'Mighty Mick' is a very quiet boy and is a little reserved as he has almost lost his faith in humans. He's been from new place to new place. He has been with us for several weeks and is slowly coming out of his shell and learning to trust again - but it will take time as his heart has been broken. He rides well in the car and was fascinated by the McDonalds Drive-Thru and even more thrilled when he tried his first burger! That made him VERY happy and I'm sure will be more than willing to do it again! He will thrive in a quiet home - preferably a retired single or retired couple who will give her all the love and attention he deserves. He lives with other smaller dogs his size and is neither aggressive or hyper. He is pretty low key. Mickey will be content hanging out with his human being a companion watching TV with you or taking a walk on a leash. Mickey is mostly house trained but will need some gentle reminders. He is very bright, vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered.
