About Lucy

We have a 7 year old Blue tick hound that needs a home. She does not get along with tiny smaller animals (such as Chihuahua's) but otherwise is very dog & people friendly. Loves to chase squirrels ! She is in excellent health, a little over weight ( 85 pounds) and likes to run. We live in the downtown area of a small Southern town and I feel she doesn't get enough chances to run and 'be a hound'... she is an INSIDE dog, well trained to living in a house. She failed obedience school, more to my failure to follow thru than her abilities... My wife has become handicapped and we can no longer keep this wonderful dog. Lucy is VERY afraid of thunderstorms - hides under the bed ! LUCY NEEDS A PLACE TO RUN !!!!!
