About Velma

We don't know much about her past but we do know that her future is bright! Velma is a 4 year old shepherd mix who weighs about 40 pounds. She's semi-feral which means before she came to our shelter she wasn't socialized with people and had to fend for herself. Velma is slowly learning that people are good and they have love to give. She is a big fan of other dogs and will do best in a house with one. She makes dog friends quickly but needs time and patience when it comes to people and a confident dog in the house will help her along. She is kennel trained and walks on a leash well. Interested?
