About Yoda

Hi! I'm Yoda. Poor Yoda has never known true love, and she wonders if she ever will. Isn't there anyone out there who wants to love her? Her people kept crated, then dumped at a shelter. All Yoda's friends left the shelter, and poor Yoda remained. Her shelter, Orphans of the Storm new this sweet loving girl deserved better. That's when they teamed up with Kaelen's K9 Dreams to get Yoda into rescue and trained in hopes someone would love her. No such luck. Yoda is 100% percent trained up to off leash recall. She knows all her commands. She is a super sweet girl who desires nothing but to be loved. She is great with children! She is eager to please. She is a rescue favorite. But she is also one of rescues longest residents. Yoda once again watches all her friends leave for loving homes. We or Yoda just don't understand. Yoda has a great capacity to show love. One shelter worker described Yoda as 'so stinking lovable just snuggling up in her arms'. Yoda is UTD and spay. She is heartworm negative. The only thing she enjoys as much as spending time with people is playing. When she sees you coming, it looks like she has a big smile on her face. She loves balls and waits on command for you to throw them. She loves stuffed toys. She has learned to accept most non-dominant dogs. Although a meet and greet would be a necessity. However, she would probably be happiest as an only dog. Yoda knows everything she needs to know to make an awesome family member. They say there is someone for everyone.
