About Ty

This handsome boy was in a very high kill animal shelter and was going to be put down due to space. His family who had him left him there to die because he wouldn't stay home. He could jump a 4 foot fence. He no longer jumps fences here at all. Its 4 foot and he stays in his yard. They said he was 2 years old, he is now 5 years old, sadly he has been stuck for 3 years waiting for a home! He is black with a gray muzzle, and built like a husky, moves and acts like a husky or a lab and can yodel, but has semi floppy ears, weighs about 55 pounds. He was very skinny when we first rescued him. He is sweet, and fine with most dogs, even small dogs. He loves attention once he knows you but until then is very indifferent and unsure. He has a more independent personality. He loves to be petted! He has little interest in cats at all. His favorite way to play is to race around the yard with another dog chasing him. Other then those occasional sprints he doesn't really play much. He's a very mellow boy, lays around most of the time. Crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.
