About Murphy

Murphy is a 2006 Pony of the Americas/cross mare. Murphy is smart and enjoys attention, but she is very unsure of people. She needs an experienced and patient adopter or trainer to work with her and give her the time she needs to learn to trust people. Murphy is halter broke, but she is not broke to ride. Once Murphy learns to trust, she should progress well in her training. Murphy would also be happy if she were a companion to another horse since she gets along fine with other horses. She was acquired with 64 ponies from a neglect situation, and they were all afraid of people when they were rescued. Most of the ponies who have been adopted and trained are family and/or kid's ponies. Murphy is located in Pilot Point, Texas.
