Meet Charli Charli is a sweet and spirited 1 year and 3-month-old female Basset mix who's ready to find her forever family! With her adorable floppy ears and playful personality, she's sure to steal your heart (and maybe your socks). Charli is the perfect match for an active and involved household that can give her the love, structure, and attention she thrives on. She's crate trained, leash trained, and even knows how to sit like a pro-especially if there's a treat involved! She's great with medium to large dogs and would love a canine sibling to romp around with. While we're not sure how she feels about cats, she's been a friendly companion to men and older kids/teens. Her energy and enthusiasm make her a great fit for families with older children who can join in on her favorite activities: playing catch, going for walks, and chewing on her beloved bones and toys. Charli is also doggy door trained, making it easy for her to enjoy the outdoors as she pleases. However, she's not suited for apartment life-this girl needs space to explore and a family that's home often. She doesn't like being alone, and truly thrives when she's involved in whatever her humans are doing-whether it's hanging out in the backyard, tagging along on a hike, or supervising from the couch.
