About Bessie

Meet Bessie (aka Bessie Coleman). Bessie and her siblings came into rescue with mom Amelia the day they were born. Mom is an Australian Shepherd (picture on Facebook link below), dad is unknown But pup DNA shows: 50% - Aussie 20% - Shih Tzu 17% - Chihuahua 12% - Supermutt Did you know the toy breeds (Shih Tzus and Chihuahuas) were bred for companionship instead of work? These pups will be small to medium sized, and soft around the edges. 'Herder-lite' we call it and a great way to break into the working breed territory as first time owners. Bessie is so dang cute! She runs out wagging her tiny tail, she's really fluffy and wags her whole body when she sees you. She loves being picked up and snuggled. She licks my ears and chin and tucks into my neck for cuddles in the sweetest way. This whole litter is very social and sweet. Perfect family dogs and will likely stay on the smaller side. They love people and are super gentle. They are learning about the giants that walk among them. Amelia has been a stellar mother��%BD'��%BD|they're lucky they had one. Bessie is dewormed, microchipped, on a vaccine schedule, and can go home on spay contract. Bessie is in Templeton.
