Background: has been with the same Shepherd parent since weaned. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with kids. Good with most large dogs, AGGRESSIVE TO SMALL DOGS. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: NO, but does have Separation Anxiety. ENERGY LEVEL: MEDIUM. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: HIGH. Weighs 70 lbs. Currently on SPORTMIX food. Good with car rides?: YES. Socialized with other dogs and/or people?: NO. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): Acts aggressive when meeting new people OUTSIDE of the home because he is in Protective Mode of his Person. If the New Person is already inside the home when Brutus comes in, he is fine. Loves: cuddling - balls - frisbees- treats - chew toys - chilling on the couch - playing with kids - playing with other dogs (but he is a rough player)- being near his Person. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: YES. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH):YES . *Good on a Leash?: UNKNOWN. *Lovable?: YES. Brutus is a big, fluffy Teddy Bear. Great with kids, loves and protects them. Gentle with kids and toddlers. Re Homing because�'�|: Brutus was outside and the Current Shepherd's mom was walking with the Current Shepherd Parent's little boy and Brutus looked up and saw and ran up and bit her, trying to protect the little boy. Brutus is also attacking the small breed dog in the home. Because of this, the Current Shepherd Parent is not comfortable with keeping Brutus and needs Brutus to find his Furever Home. Brutus is a great family companion and loves kids, but he is very protective of his people. Will thrive best�'�|?: in a loving home with NO small animals. Comes with: collar, leash, harness.
