Nimbus is a goofy, playful, and high energy puppy who is in need of a loving, dedicated, and patient foster or forever family to unleash his full doggy potential. Nimbus has an unfortunate backstory. Nimbus was kept in a crate that was too small, isolated, hardly ever walked or played with and never trained. As a result he is very underweight, has little muscle mass, and also dog reactive. In spite of his past, Nimbus is learning to trust people and learning the basic commands and his reactivity is slowly decreasing. He loves tug of war, chasing balls, chew toys, and being outdoors. Unfortunately for him, I already had a small dog when Nimbus joined our family. Nimbus is reactive towards the little dog and and his healing process will really take off if he wasn't constantly at threshold. If I had no other dogs, I would be keeping him. Nimbus is intact (not neutered) in hopes that the testosterone will help him gain muscle mass however this is just a suggestion. He currently weighs 65 lbs and should weigh about 80lbs. He is slowly gaining aout 0.7lbs per week and is estimated to weigh about 100lbs when fully grown. Nimbus would benefit greatly from formal training and having a 'job' (being a running buddy or agility training for example.) He is truly a good boy once trust has been established and eager to learn and loves the outdoors.
