Meet Essa - A Sweet Soul from the Streets of Aruba Essa's journey began on the streets of Aruba, but her story took a beautiful turn when we asked a local trapper to bring her to safety. No trap was needed-Essa walked right up, trusting and ready for a new beginning. Since July 3rd, Essa has been under veterinary care, receiving nutritious meals, love, and treatment for heartworm. At around 2 years old, she's blossomed into a gentle, low-key girl who's grateful for every bit of kindness she receives. Despite a tough start-her flat feet hint at poor nutrition as a puppy-Essa doesn't let that slow her down. She greets each day with optimism and joy, winning hearts with her sweet nature.
