About Canelo

Earlier this year (March), Canelo, a very friendly orange tabby, appeared at our home as a stray. He was persistent and sweet, eventually finding ways into our house and making it clear he wanted to stay. Our intention was to formally adopt him, and we took him to a veterinarian for a full check-up, vaccinations, and to ensure he was healthy. We have worked diligently to integrate him into our family, which includes three other resident cats. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we have been unsuccessful. Canelo has shown consistent and targeted aggression towards one of our resident female cats. The behavior includes persistent chasing and instigating fights, which has created a very stressful and unsafe environment for her�'��. We have come to the difficult conclusion that our home is not the right environment for him to thrive, and for the safety and well-being of our resident cat, we must find him a new home where he can be happy. �'��Canelo is a handsome orange tabby, approximately 3-5 years old. Aside from his issues with our one cat, he is very affectionate with people, playful, and perfectly litterbox trained. He is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and we are happy to provide all of his veterinary records. Thank you
