LITTLE BIT is a 2-year-old, 5-pound Chihuahua who came into rescue as an owner surrender. When she arrived, she had two fairly large hernias that have since been repaired. She is now happy, healthy, and ready to find her forever home. This petite girl is as sweet and calm as they come. LITTLE BIT adores pets and snuggles, and at night she curls up in the big bed with her foster mom, sometimes burrowing under the covers until she gets too warm, then popping back out to continue her cozy sleep. LITTLE BIT hasn't shown much interest in toys yet, and she loves other dogs so a home with another small dog companion would be ideal. We do not know how she would be with cats or kids. She would likely do best in a home with adults or older, respectful kids. LITTLE BIT does well in the car, usually snoozing within minutes of the ride, and she seems to be fully house trained. While she can be a little timid on the leash, with patience and consistency she's improving daily. She isn't much of an explorer yet, so a yard isn't required, but would be a nice bonus. LITTLE BIT has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you're looking for a tiny, loving companion, LITTLE BIT may be the perfect match for you! *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida.
