Jackson is a 5-7 year old Corgi? mix male who is looking for a soft place to land for the rest of his days. We took Jackson on after his owner passed away. Jackson is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Jackson is special needs as he has TCell Lymphoma. We fully believe that this is a slow progressing cancer as he has had two small masses on his neck for quite some time. We have had our vet check him out, do a fine needle aspiration, send a cytology off to a lab and then we sent another to Colorado State University. I have all of the documentation, results and paperwork for him on the results we received. Jackson is a seriously fantastic dog who only has one flaw. He cannot be in a home with cats - otherwise we would let him live here for the rest of his days. Jackson is food motivated and loves attention from his people. He enjoys going for walks and loves toys and car rides. He is good with our dogs - but can be dominant when first meeting another dog. When we got him, he was pretty overweight and we have been working on his weight as well (he currently weighs 40 pounds.) We are open to a forever home or allowing a rescue to take him on.
