We are looking to rehome our ~4-year-old Shih Tzu mix (about 20 lbs). His name is Mochi. He's a long, cuddly, and adorable little guy who loves being close to his people. He's very sweet but has separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where he isn't left alone all day. He's also easily startled, so he would thrive in a calm home without small children or other pets. While he can sometimes play well with other dogs, he prefers having his own space. A few things to know about him: 'ۢ Grooming needed every 3-4 months (most likely needs professionally groomed, he doesn't like to let me do it) 'ۢ Not crate-trained (he gets very anxious in them) but does well when left with blinds open and a safe space 'ۢ Sleeps happily in his own bed at night 'ۢ Knows some basic commands and does well on walks 'ۢ Loves looking out the window and being near his people We will send him with all his supplies to help make his transition easier. He's up to date on his vaccinations too and won't need his annual ones until next summer. We now have a toddler and another dog in our home, and unfortunately it's no longer the right environment for him. We want him to have the calm, loving home he deserves-ideally with a yard to romp in and a family who can give him plenty of attention. If you're interested in meeting him or think you might be the right fit, please reach out. ժ Asking for a $75 rehoming fee.
