I am 11lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $500 I'm a little dog with a tender heart-and right now, I'm still learning that the world can be a safe place. New sights, sounds, and people can feel really overwhelming to me. If I get startled or feel trapped, I might growl or try to protect myself. I'm not trying to be difficult-I'm just still figuring things out and doing my best. Because of this, I'm looking for a very special home-one that's calm, patient, and understands that trust takes time. I'll need to go home with another dog-one who's kind and confident and can help show me the ropes. Other dogs help me feel safe, and having a buddy by my side makes a big difference. I may take some time to settle in, but I promise I'm worth the wait. With consistency, compassion, and a soft voice, I'll start to blossom. I just need someone willing to meet me where I am and walk gently beside me as I learn how to be brave. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon!
