About Willow

Willow is a special girl with a big heart and a strong spirit. She's all about belly rubs, napping in the sun, and sniffing out rodents. This is not a lady meant for a perfectly manicured yard as she loves to dig for critters. Though she is not dog aggressive, she generally doesn't want much to do with other dogs and takes quite a while to warm up to them. She loves playing with her best friend Louie, but on her terms only. She will do best in a home with another mellow dog or without other animals. Willow was raised on four acres, surrounded by woods, and trained not to bother chickens so she leaves birds alone but cats, rabbits, and rodents are all fair game to her. She will do best somewhere where she is able to roam wide spaces during the day but hang out indoors with her people at night and when it's cold. She knows basic commands and is housebroken but will need help with her on-leash manners. If you are looking for a loyal, unique, and loving dog to share your life with, Willow might be the perfect fit.
