Lizzie #A5724653, is located in a high kill shelter in Castaic, California. The LA shelters are in severe overcrowding conditions and are euthanizing young healthy dogs at an alarming!!! Please don't let this gorgeous sweet girl lose her life in this cold place!!!! Transportation and information is available. She is the sweetest 3 year old German Shepherd who came into the shelter as a stray. This poor girl arrived in bad shape: emaciated, severely fly bitten ears, and infested with fleas!! She knows sit, takes treats gently, and walks nicely on leash. In spite of her rough past, she is very loving. She is such a gentle soul! Has not yet been tested with other dogs but you can bring your dog for a through the fence meet and greet to see how they interact.
