About Rowdy

Rowdy came to me after my daughter picked him off of the road while driving. His owner was found but they said they didn't want him anymore so he has lived with me the past 4 years. I am disabled & bed bound so I cannot care for him as he needs. He has been friendly with all animals (cats & dogs) that he's been around and loves people. I haven't had him around children tho. He craves affection & is very friendly but he has some anxiety and doesn't want to be left alone so he would do best in a home where someone can spend a lot of time with him. He naps often but he also gets spurts of energy. He LOVES my daughters back yard when she takes him to visit so he'd do best with a yard or at least a few daily walks because he does get a bit of cabin fever cooped up in my room. This is a VERY good dog & I hate to do this but he needs more than I can give him. I want him to go to a loving home. Vet or some sort of reference because I don't want him being neglected again or used as a bait dog. Unfortunately he was definitely abused & neglected before he came here. He's come so far learning wise (he didn't know most basic things at 1st) but there are still times it's clear he doesn't have the manners of being properly trained in house & he needs someone to love and be patient with him. He absolutely adores my daughter's Chihuahua & would do great with a companion. Call for any questions or more pictures.
