About Bella

Rottweiler
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

A Rottweiler was dumped in my neighborhood, and she found her way to my driveway after a thunderstorm. She was terrified, thirsty, and hungry. Dogs get dumped in our neighborhood frequently, but this pup is a sad case. We are calling this dog Bella. I have four geriatric cats and two small dogs. At first I was very scared of Bella because I don't know anything about Rottweilers. I can't let her near my small animals, so my only choice was to put her in my garage. I checked for a chip, hung up flyers, posted on PawBoost, NextDoor, Facebook, and Instagram. Bella is a young dog, but you can tell she has had puppies. %BD%BD%BD She knows how to heal when you walk her. She calmly walks beside you no matter what your pace. She knows how to sit and lay down. If you sit down, she crawls in your lap like a puppy, even though she weighs 76 lbs. She is so excited about any care you give her. She was delighted to have food and water. She thanks you with her eyes. I got her a rope toy to chew, and she pranced around the garaged, so proud to have a toy. When you go in the garage, she will run and get it to show you. It is getting hot again - too hot for a dog to be in a garage. You may know that Houston is a difficult place for a lost dog. The rescues are full and the pound kills dogs without a three-day waiting period. If you can help this dog and find a someone who loves this breed, I can pay to have her spayed, chipped, and vaccinated. I can drive her to Austin or wherever you need. I just want her to have some love.
