About Abby

Abby is an incredibly sweet dog that needs a home with some time to dedicate to her. With her being a German Shepherd, she has a lot of energy, but is also very obedient & eager to learn. I have not been able to make the time I hoped for to work her out & try to train her further. She knows sit, stay, shake & lay down. She can get excited for treats but understands to be gentle when you tell her easy, though she will usually take food from someone very gingerly. She is very loving, & usually seems like a 75lb teddy bear. Great with kids, dogs & adults alike. Cats unknown. She likes to be near you, & enjoy your pets, & she likes to play & is quite gental for her size. Shes used to playing with a 20lb & a 60lb dog. She can be a bit timid in public but is very well behaved. Ive noticed as timid as she can appear, she will be defensive of the home to the extent of barking to alert everyone, but has never shown ANY signs of actual aggression.
