sSUPER URGENTs The family I nanny for has an aussie they rescued a few years back. He is a little bit special and is super super high energy and needs a lot of activity. They have described him as not very friendly to other dogs but he has no issues with their other aussie or their parents dog. Last week their 1.5yr old was helping feed him dinner and he turned on her and nipped her ear. Because of that they decided to rehome him. During that process an interested party came to see him and brought their dog on the first visit to see if they'd get along. He did attack and bite that dog and now they are labeling him as an aggressive dog and made an appointment to put him down this Saturday. I dont see him day in and day out however I do have a little experience with families who have aggressive dogs and I really dont think that he is one. He has issues for sure I dont know anything about the home he came from previously. All he wants is to play and run and be loved and I dont think he is over 5yrs old yet (might be wrong). I was hoping someone could help me find a safe place for him to potentially go or maybe give me some suggestions to help save his life. The best home for him would be one with lots of space no other animals or small kids. If you have any questions please contact me and I will ask the family.
