Balto was left by his former owner when she moved. She kept him in the house most of the time, mostly in a kennel and without interaction with other humans. For the past two months He has had interactions with the other animals in the house and has done well with most. He does not get along with another unneutered male that is in the home. He is incredibly affectionate and gentle for the most part. He just doesn't know his energy and size. He gets incredibly fearful when meeting a new male human and can react aggressively out of fear. He barks and shakes and raises his hackles with them. But he has never bitten anyone. He is gentle with children and other small animals. He likes to carry around his stuffed animals and play with them. He does not tear them apart, showing his gentle nature he needs somewhere He can run and be active. He is a high energy dog and does need some work. I have been fostering him for a couple of months and have gotten to a point that is beyond my capabilities. I just want him to go to a good home. He deserves a good life and he's a good pup. I don't have the capability to continue his care and my goal has always been to find him his forever home.
