About Koda

Please take a moment to meet Koda. He is a 3-4 year-old lovable 60-70 pound lap dog that desperately needs help finding a loving home. Koda's story is a sad one. His original owners moved and left him chained to a fence with no food or water. Thankfully caring neighbors called CARE to come and get him. While at CARE another dog attacked him and he lost part of his ear. Just when he thought he'd found his forever home his adopter began experiencing severe health issues and could no longer care for him. Due to his past Koda can have some strong reactions to other dogs and people at first. He would do best in a home with no children and no other pets. Koda is house-trained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his shots. He is an absolute sweetheart and will give kisses until you have to push him away. He loves sleeping curled up next to his human. He loves walks and being outside. This amazing dog just needs a chance, if you are able to take him in, please let us know ASAP. We need to find a place for him quickly. Our group would be willing to help with food and supplies for the first year if needed.
