My lovely boy needs a new home. I got him as a puppy, raised him, trained him, he even learned a few service dog tasks at one point, but unfortunately when I moved out I had to leave him with my family. They don't have the time or energy for a German shepherd so he's just sadly wasting away and is in desperate need of a new home. He needs someone who will take him on frequent walks (anyone who loves hiking, he'd LOVE it!), keep up with his training, someone who has the time for him to give him the life he deserves. He really is my best boy and I want him to thrive! What you need to know: He's neutered but hasn't been updated on his shots since he was 3, so he needs those. His coat is in rough condition but I'm confident it will spring back beautifully with a proper diet. He got overweight but has recently started shaving off the pounds little by little so he's looking and acting a lot better. He is reactive but not aggressive. Can live with other dogs or cats if introduced properly. He knows a whole handful of commands but they need a little freshening up. He's got a typical GSD stomach, meaning it's sensitive and he will get diarrhea easily if he eats something new. And he's kind of an introvert so he gets nervous and wouldn't do well with kids getting in his space often. He LOVES walks, food, playing, cuddling. You name it, he probably loves it. And don't get me started on how smart he is! He knows more tricks than I can remember and he's really cheeky too. He would thrive with a home where he can go on frequent adventures, get plenty of enrichment and training, proper vet care, and lots of love and snuggles! Please reach out to me for any questions and pictures! I really want to see this dog happy again.
