At just 4.5 months old, Dottie, a Jack Russell Terrier mix, is already turning heads with her one-of-a-kind markings - a sweet little spot on top of her head, a heart on her side, and a whole lot of Snoopy vibes in her expressive eyes. Dottie is still a puppy and learning her way in the world. She's doing fantastic with house training when kept on a consistent routine, and she happily sleeps in her crate (door open, of course). She adores her stuffed animals, toys, and will never say no to a tasty treat - she's very food motivated, which makes training extra fun! Because Dottie is timid with people, fast movements, and new situations, she needs a patient adopter who will continue her exposure and training at her pace. She warms up once she settles and is then a happy, bouncy, pup. Dottie seems to be more social when she has other dogs around. She can get a tad big for her britches with them so is best suited with confident, adult dogs. Pushovers need not apply. She's currently working on obedience basics and leash walking, and with consistency (and snacks) she'll blossom into a wonderful, well-rounded dog. If you're ready for a sweet, unique little girl who's part heart-dog, part Snoopy-double, and 100% love, Dottie might just be your perfect match. Dottie is being fostered in Westminster, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/dottie/.
