About Murphy

Murphy is a 5 yr old male catahoula NALC certified neutered. Has been in our family for five years. He is a very loyal dog to one or two people. We are having a harder time however trusting him with our younger children. They chase him around and he sometimes growls at them to warn them away. Also with our other dog when she gets riled up at someone he will back her up and go after them. Recently bit someone because of that situation. He should go to a home with someone looking for a loyal dog but doesn't have children or strangers coming over all the time. He is easy to control when someone comes over and it's managed. However with kids friends showing up unannounced and situations like that should be avoided. He walks on a leash well is a very smart dog.
