About Marmo

Hello! I am desperately looking for a home for a sweet decker / giant rat terrier that I saved from euthanasia a month ago. She was stuck at an overcrowded shelter and only had a day left so I sprung into action to rescue her across the country and was hoping to be her forever home. Unfortunately, I live in downtown NYC and she is not doing well in the hustle and bustle of city life. She is overwhelmed by the street noises, packed streets, sirens, etc. and is doing worse with each day. She is otherwise a very quiet, shy, sweet girl and okay with dogs, cats and children (I have both). She has been sleeping with me every night, has a veracious appetite and I believe in the right environment would enjoy walks and being outside. I have named her Marmo, she is between 1 1/2 and 2 years old, 28 pounds, and has been the vet for all her shots and is a very healthy girl. I really would love to find her forever home! She would make a great dog for the right person ����
