About Runner

Runner is a sweet, active yet cuddly, 3 year old fella who loves to play and RUN! He gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids so his rare territorial outbursts have been confusing when they've occurred though 2 out of 3 happened over food and a toy. He was rescued from a park as a puppy in Baton Rouge and was very sick with parvo at that time. He got the care he needed, recovered super well, and is now healthy and active and hasn't had any health issues since aside from occasional allergies and a bout of gi upset that resolved with treatment. He is up to date on vaccines and prevention. He is potty trained and really, a good and loveable boy. He has a deep chesty bark that sounds startling, but takes no time at all to warm up to new people and will welcome himself to your lap in a heart beat. We hate having to rehome our sweet friend, and are truly heartbroken, but we think he may be better served in a single pet household where he can be the star of the show from start to finish.
