**Hear Ye, Hear Ye - Lady Merida of Barkingham Seeks Her Own Kingdom!** After bravely escaping the MCACC e-list while carrying royal cargo, our noble Lady Merida gave birth to her litter of little knights and ladies on 7/31/25. Her puppies have now ventured off to their own realms�'�| and at long last, it's *her* turn to claim a castle of her own! About Her Highness: Lady Merida is a 2-year-old Lab with a heart of gold and the courage of a knight. She's wonderfully easygoing and gets along with just about everyone - kids as young as 3, men, and dogs of all sizes (especially the big ones who can keep up with her play style). Cats are still a mystery to her, but given her laid-back personality, she'd likely adjust just fine. She's already crate trained and uses a doggy door like a pro. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but with how treat-motivated she is, she'll pick it up in no time. Thunder and loud noises don't rattle her - this queen is made of sturdy stuff. She loves toys, chew bones, running around outside, and making new friends wherever she goes. Apartment or house, solo or with other pups - she's the kind of dog who just goes with the flow, as long as there are snacks, snuggles, and love in her kingdom. **Her Royal Vibe:** Merida is friendly, confident, and warms up to strangers faster than you can say 'long live the queen!' She's brave, unbothered by loud sounds, and always ready for fun or snuggles. She could thrive in a house with a yard or adapt to an apartment if her subjects provide love and snacks. **Her Ideal Domain:** A family with kids, other dogs, or just devoted humans who enjoy treats, cuddles, and outdoor romps. A big dog sibling would be the knight to her round table, but she's happy to rule solo too.
