About Chiquita

1 year old, approximately 30lb black pit mix. Should not expect her to ger any bigger, only bulk up. The owner took her in from an unsafe situation but due to life changes can sadly no longer keep her due to her new apartments breed restrictions. She has all her first year shots and was spayed 8/12/25. She is very timid at first but if given patience and about 30min, she warms up quickly���� Once she Is attached to you, she never wants to leave your side�����%8F She will come with: - slow feed bowl - a few treats - small bag of her food to slowly transition her to new food, a leash - collar and harness. - She's great with kids, people, dogs and cats. She does however need a slow introduction to dogs bigger than her as she can get a bit defensive. - She can use puppy pads but if you let her outside regularly she does well. It would be better if she has access to a doggy door as she is very good using those. - Can be destructive (puppy behavior) but if she has a bone or something to chew on she typically leaves other things alone. - Good on a leash - She does bark at strangers when inside but does not bark while on walks, just curious! - She does not like car rides and does get car sick She is healthy and very energetic so a fenced backyard is a must! There ��%BCwill be a small rehome fee and home check required.
