Gulliver is a looker--and it's very obvious he's part golden, part low-rider--and turns heads everywhere he goes. But it's his temperament that really steals your heart-he's gentle, affectionate, and VERY eager to please. He learns quickly (already crate trained, sits politely for his meals, and nearly 100% potty trained), and he thrives on playtime and interaction. Fetch? Tug of war? Playing chase with another pup? He's all in! He loves car rides, walks beautifully on a leash, and never misses a chance to make a new friend-dog or human, big or small. He'd be happiest in a home with another playful dog or an active family where he can be part of the action. Like any good boy, he has a few quirks. He's quite the little athlete and can clear a 4-foot chain link fence, so a taller or solid fence that he cannot climb is required. Health-wise, he's doing great! He previously tested positive for anaplasmosis (a tick-borne illness common in Texas), but he has no symptoms, is cleared by the vet, and is living his best, healthy life. Above all, Gully just wants to be loved and included. He's the kind of dog who will make you laugh every day, keep you active, and curl up next to you on the couch after he's tired. He also would love a spot next to you on the big bed... he's a big big fan of the human-sized dog beds. Gulliver is good with cats and respectful children 5+. Gulliver is approximately 47# and will be 3 y/o in December. He's neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-.
