About Desert

Meet Desert - Your Loyal Adventure Buddy Desert has had quite a journey in her life and is now looking for her forever home. We are her third family, and while she's been well-loved with us, we know she deserves more time and attention than we can give her with two little kids at home. Her story: She was rescued off the streets of Las Vegas, a little overweight and misunderstood, but quickly showed her loyal, loving side. After a short stay with another family, we adopted her in 2021 and she became our running and hiking partner. She loves being active outdoors and thrives when she gets regular walks or adventures. About Desert: �'ۢ Kid-friendly - She's wonderful with our young children. �'ۢ Loyal & protective - She barks when visitors arrive but is not aggressive, just vocal. �'ۢ Food-motivated - She'll happily train for treats (but will also help herself to counters, trash, or even the freezer if unattended!). �'ۢ Active - She does best with a walk every day and loves longer hikes or runs during the week. �'ۢ Quirky but lovable - She spends time in her kennel when we can't supervise her, but she's a very good girl at heart. Desert is looking for a home with someone who will enjoy her adventurous side, give her the structure she needs, and provide daily exercise. She has so much love and loyalty to give and will make the right person or family an incredible companion. We are not looking to send her to a shelter-we know she's a great dog with a few quirks and just want to find the right fit. Could you be her person?
